Confessions of a Disney Employee

Confessions of a Disney Employee
This is the most funniest disney editorial I have ever witnessed!! This 16 year old boy got a part time job in Disney World and explains his story. He repersents his story through stick figure cartoons and explains what it's like to be a disney employee with his own twist. He's stationed at the DisneyWorld's Indianna Jones show. His managers hate him but he only stays for the food, typical teenager. If you imagine his situation as you it is completly relatable. He ends up having to sit there and guard the tomorowland region becuase someone rents out the park. Well along with the pacage they recieve free food catering. So he ends up re hiring himself before he quits and than later a highschool rents out the park. What happens next? You'll have to watch to find out.
Confessions of a Disney Employee pt. 2
This is a sequel to the first one above. Adds more into his story. Just watch it. Yur mind will be blown.
Revage of the Disney Employee
If you've watched both videos of confessions of a disney employee. Well he's back and is better than ever. How he ends up gtting fired... oh what spoiler alert **

5 Disneyland Secrets You Didn't Know About

Think you know all of the Disneyland secrets? The popular theme park we all know by the name of Disneyland contains some deep, dark, and sometimes amusing secrets that you probably don't know. Millions are blissfully unaware as they roam the amusement park in search of...well...amusement. From the so-called "Hidden Mickeys" located all over the park, to driving an actual riverboat, read on to learn the secrets of Disneyland!
1) Driving the Mark Twain:
Yes, that's right! If you play your cards right, you may be able to actually drive the Mark Twain riverboat. Here's what to do: Right before you board, find a cast member and (very nicely) ask them if you can visit the wheel house. If luck is on your side, (and you were nice) they'll direct you to the second floor, to a door marked "Private." Knock. The captain of the Mark Twain will answer and guide you up a special ladder to the actual wheel house. That, my friend, is where you will be able to actually take the wheel and steer the boat! You may also learn how to ring the Mark Twain's bell and sound its whistle. Way, way cool! The fun doesn't end with driving the Mark Twain, oh no. You'll also get to sign a special guest book, one that contains names of those who've gone before you as an honorary driver, dating all the way back to the mid-1950s (when the Twain was dedicated). Your exciting journey will be recorded for all to see in the Captain's log. So mark that on your bucket list.

2)Birthday Fun
Some of you may already know this, but for those who don't: If you visit Disneyland on your birthday, be sure to tell the person at the gate that it's your big day. You'll be whisked away to City Hall where you'll be presented with a special sticker by cast members, letting everyone know it's your birthday. You may also be able to score special items from other cast members throughout the park.

3) Indianna Jones Adventure
The next time you visit the Indiana Jones Adventure, Temple of the Forbidden Eye, pay close attention: You may spot a very familiar Disney character who clearly doesn't fit in. Eeyore! Eyore can apparently be seen in the movie room. Some suggest carrying a flashlight and aiming it up after you make your first right and then left. When you hit the end of that first left turn, look up. Shine the flashlight through the boards and you may be able to see him! Why is Eeyore in the Temple of the Forbidden Eye? Apparently, the Indiana Jones Adventure was constructed directly over the old Eeyore parking lot - and he's there as a tribute. Think even grumpy old Eeyore would be touched? Yeah, probably not, but it's the thought that counts, right?

4) The Music Never Stops..
Disneyland rides feature elaborate music and sounds from the ghoulish voices of the Haunted Mansion to the It's a Small World dolls. Did you know that the music literally never stops at the park? Even when rides are shut off, the sounds are rumored to keep on going. Apparently, some believe it's too pricey for Disney to keep turning off the music and then restarting it each day. Bet that makes for some super creepiness as workers clean up at 2 a.m. I knew I would be scared out of my pants.

5) Hooting hoops inside the Matterhorn yo!
Some 'Team Matterhorn' climbers can enjoy a little basketball game or two while on break from their work. And they can do it inside the Matterhorn! Apparently, there's a half-court basketball court located in the top of the Matterhorn. Workers can hang out, shoot hoops and even play a game of ping-pong, if they are so inclined.

The Hollywood Tower Hotel

"You are the passengers on a most uncommon elevator about to ascend into your very own episode of...The Twilight Zone. One stormy night long ago, five people stepped through the door of an elevator and into a nightmare. That door is opening once again, and this time it's opening for you." Those are the errie words that you hear once seated in the service elevator. Yet there's so much more to this creppy disney tale.
How it works
First of all it is not a drop. It forces you down. So once you leave the 5th dimension the elevator pulls on to a platform and locks into place. The platform is hanging by cables in a pully system, which is attach to the motors that is above the drop shaft. The motors are supported by a column of beams that is seperated from the actual building, do to the weight. The motor then pulls the cables to force you up and down. At the bottom of the drop shaft is the buffer zone. It is a pit that out of control elevators land and slow down with springs and buffers. Above the buffer zone is a projector and screen that projects a broken window and then the wormhole. The elevator backs out of the shaft and into unload.

Lost Effects:
Over the years some of the special effects that were designed into the original Tower of Terror have stopped working for one reason or another. There would actually be sparks that would shoot from the Tower. The sparking would shoot down from one of the letters in HOLLYWOOD TOWER every once in a while at night. It was a nice touch!! There was also a telephone that would ring in the lobby and the bellhop in front of the library would answer it and have a "conversation" with one of the hotel guests. They were all very humorous and mostly pre-scripted. It was a great way to entertain the guests for the 3 minutes or so they had to wait in the lobby before going into the library.

Secrets:
-The entrance to the ride is on the first floor and the exit is in the basement
-The motors that are used in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror are three times more powerful than those that were used in the World Trade Center
-The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was struck by lightning during construction
-The luggage in the lobby is a complete set made from genuine alligator skin
-There is a dummy room near the top of the hotel. At night you can see a light in the window where there looks like there is a room. It's really just a light but no real room

"A warm welcome back to those of you who made it and a friendly word of warning; something you won't find in any guidebook. The next time you check into a deserted hotel on the dark side of Hollywood, make sure you know just what kind of vacancy you're filling. Or you may find yourself a permanent resident of...The Twilight Zone"

The Kingdom Keepers Books

In this fantastical thriller, five young teens tapped as models for theme park “guides” find themselves pitted against Disney villains and witches that threaten both the future of Walt Disney World and the stability of the world outside its walls. Using a cutting-edge technology called DHI which stands for both Disney Host Interactive and Daylight Hologram Imagin, Finn Whitman, an Orlando teen, and four other kids are transformed into hologram projections that guide guests through the park. The new technology turns out, however, to have unexpected effects that are both thrilling and scary.
Soon Finn finds himself transported in his DHI form into the Magic Kingdom at night. Is it real? Is he dreaming? Finn’s confusion only increases when he encounters Wayne, an elderly Imagineer who tells him that the park is in grave danger. Led by the scheming witch, Maleficent, a mysterious group of characters called the Overtakers is plotting to destroy Disney’s beloved realm, and maybe more.
This gripping high-tech tale will thrill every kid who has ever dreamed of sneaking into Walt Disney World after hours and wondered what happens at night, when the park is closed. Highly Recommended!

Disneys Cars Land

Disneys Cars Land just opened as a two year construction plan of 1.1 billion dollar project
turned into a down right success. In Disneys California Adventure theme park opened June 15th of 2012, a 12 acre park inside a park. Cars Land is a copy cat image of what the Pixar film Cars look aike. Including all the sites and attractions that are in cars even a whole outer back splash of a rocky canyon that makes you not able to see out of the park creating the atmosphere of you actually being a car.

Now enough facts lets get down to business , you plan on going to Cars land well send whosever the fastest in your party to sprint across California Adventure park to the back to receive fast passes for the "Radiator Spring Racers" unless you enjoy a 3 hour wait where the line stretches out past the atrractions opening sign. The sad part is I'm not eveing exaggerating. But yes it is worth it a fun filled attraction taking guests in a six-person vehicle through a meeting with Doc and Lighting McQueen, as well as other characters from the film Cars. Suddenly, guests find themselves racing another vehicle through sharp turns and fast speedways ending with a randomized race result. Similar to Epcot's "Test Track".

There's also "Luigi's Flying Tires" and "Maters Junkyard Jamboree". These rides are more of a skip if you run out of time during your stay at the park. That is unless you have little ones on board with you. We know the sacrifices you'll make as a parent to go on the less thrill factor rides such as waiting in a two hour line to ride an elephant for a fraction of 2 minutes.

Food never fails at Dinsey! There is a majority of food stops that got incorporated into Cars Land. Flo's V8 cafe is a Jhonny Rockets themed restraunt with a little twist. Also a small food stop at Filmores taste-in. A small outdoor mini market selling fruit, chips, ect. I probably bought 3 sodas from there during my trip because we needed caffeine like MAJORLY; after going to the park 30 minutes before it opened at 7:30 till the park closed at midnight so keep that in mind for however long you go.

There's also little shops designated to the rides and themed land.
  • Ramone's House of Body Art
  • Sarge's Surplus Hut
  • Radiator Springs Curios

Notice how most of the rides, and shops are made into the actual buildings represented in the movie? Even when you go inside. Disney has always done such a great job with details.

If you do plan to attend Disney's California Adventure I advise you go straight to Cars Land. It is a beautiful landscape and Disney just came back into the race raising the bar just a little higher than usual.
P.S. don't forget about those hidden mickeys at cars land there is some around there!!
